Timetable, Entry Forms, Rules and General Info

If this is your first time at a Fleadh Cheoil and you or a family member is due to compete the following information may help you.

When it comes to the time of the event you should:

  • Look at the timetable and see WHEN (day & time) the competition you have entered is taking place

  • Look at the timetable and see WHERE in the town the competition you have entered is taking place

  • Locate the Fleadh Office on the map

  • On the day of the event and on arrival in Headford, first REGISTER at the Fleadh Office

  • A Steward will assist competitors find their competition name/number & mark individuals present

  • A Steward will point out where the the competition will take place

  • Enter the venue & wait your turn and ultimately to be called by the Call Stewart

  • Approach the podium when called & start when the adjudicator gives you the nod

  • Do your best…perform like never before!

Only potential competitors who registered ahead of the weekend and by the official deadline may compete at the weekend of the Fleadh.

NOTE: this year, in Headford, the Fleadh Office and all competition venues are in the vicinity of Presentation College Headford and there is ample parking there.
